Ms. Kim Loan learned about the Right Dharma of Venerable
Master Thich Thong Lac while traveling for medical treatment. She met a
vegetarian friend who introduced her to the Right Dharma. Subsequently, she
researched through YouTube and acquired the Master's books to read. She found
the Master's teachings to be miraculous and perfectly aligned with the Buddha's
ethics.

Upon her first visit to Chon Nhu Monastery, she felt that
the scenery was very peaceful and filled with love.
Impressions of Venerable Master Thich Thong Lac and
Cherished Teachings
Ms. Kim Loan felt joyful and loving when reading the
Venerable Master's books. The teaching she remembered most was: "An unperturbed mind is serene, peaceful, and
unburdened; the mind is like earth, the mind is like water; greed, anger, and
delusion must be swept clean; one must reduce greed, anger, and delusion and no
longer be angry or deluded".
Aspiration to Meet the Current Abbot
She expressed her desire to meet Abbot Thich Mat Hanh and
the Buddhist practitioners at the monastery to continue practicing the Buddha's
Right Dharma.
Benefits of Long-Term Vegetarianism
She has been a strict vegetarian for 3 years and feels her
body is healthy and light. She believes that vegetarianism does not lead to
nutrient deficiency but rather helps the mind feel light and healthy.
Self-Healing Illnesses Through the Right Dharma
Previously, she suffered from various ailments, including
heart conditions and shortness of breath. Through practicing meditation, Right
method of directing the mind (Directing the mind to another form/state, then
the present unwholesome form/state will be destroyed),
and dispelling illness according to Venerable Master Thich
Thong Lac's teachings, she recovered from many illnesses. She shared her mental
affirmation: "Calming the bodily formations, I know I breathe in;
calming the bodily formations, the sickness within me, depart from my body. An
unperturbed mind is serene, peaceful, and unburdened; the mind is like earth,
the mind is like water; greed, anger, and delusion, I sweep clean".
Character Transformation
Since reading the Master's Dharma, she has overcome her
quick temper, anger, delusion, and negative speech. She no longer harbors
resentment or gets angry when others say something.

She realized the miraculousness of Buddhist Dharma when she
became vegetarian, which helped her develop more love for sentient beings. She
felt heartbroken seeing sentient beings suffer.

Through her practice, she speaks more gently to her husband,
and her husband has also gradually overcome his temper. Both she and her
husband have been vegetarian for 3 years.
Aspiration to Spread the Right Dharma
She wishes to help more people learn about the Right Dharma
but recognizes that they are not yet ready. She vows to strive for deeper
practice so that her family can transform and learn to love each other, thereby
enabling her to spread the Right Dharma outwardly. She believes that
vegetarianism does not cause nutrient deficiency but rather helps the mind feel
light and healthy.
